I still have all my interior panels out of my hatch from previous work I have been doing, and recently bought a couple small subs with a good amp, and I got to thinking this would be an excellent oppotunity to really hush the Z down. I get alot of resonance from my exhaust (NA). I am going to buy the secondskin audio stuff, it seems to have a much better quality/price ratio than dynamat. But after searching and reading many posts on the subject, I still have one looming question..... Should the material be applied to the backside of the interior panels, or to the metal underneath it? Seems to me that putting it on the panels is more logical, so that you still have easy access to wires and crap that is bound to and running through the metal under the panels, but then again, I am no expert on this matter. Have any of you done this type of stuff for a living that can educate me on the PROPER way to do this? Thanks
